Introduction

Salesforce is a cloud based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Basic administration of the system is fairly straight forward and it is built with a lot of fail safes so it is hard to do something that would destroy the system. Secondly there is a huge community of Salesforce users that are generally really keep to help each other. Salesforce itself has focused on building this community and works to help all administrators get the best out of the system by interacting with other administrators.

There are many Salesforce events around the world and we would highly recommend that you look to join your local community, in particular any non-profit groups. Attending Salesforce events you will always pick up interesting thoughts and ideas that you can incorporate into the system.

Trailhead is a brilliant way to upskill yourself on Salesforce content. It is a free training system that Salesforce has provided to help admins get better. Check it out at http://trailhead.salesforce.com

Please know that we really want to see the Alpha Salesforce Tribe grow together. No one person knows the whole system, our regional and global Alpha teams are continuing to grow in their skills and knowledge.

We want you to be part of that too! So if you see a good idea please pass it along to other countries and regional teams. Talk and encourage each other in everything Salesforce.

Google searching your Salesforce problems are also good because it will help you access the community of Salesforce administrators.

And finally your regional Salesforce specialists is Gisell Cogliandro, Yuli Chua, Blessing Mpofu or Matias Miño.
