What is Appearance? Creating and editing Menu items (Headers & Footers)
Appearance is where the Menu items (Headers and Footers) that are used across your alpha.org site are controlled. These link to pages around your site (or externally), such as to your home page, Try Alpha page or Blog.
You can either Translate existing Global Menu items or create your own Local Menu items
To translate existing Global menu items go to Translator View -> Menu -> Network Menu and then filter by which menu you are translating. In this example we're translating the 'Footer'.
Some of these may have already been created if you had already translated the Page (as some menu items are connected to a specific page).
---------------------------------------------
To make your own Menu items in the Admin area go to Appearance -> Menu
By Default you will be editing the 'Footer' but you can change this in the dropdown menu, and press 'select'.
Once in the correct Menu you can search through 'Most Recent', 'View all' of 'Search' for pages that you have made or created Local customisations of. However you can also have 'Custom Links' that link to any website/address. We use this to link to things like https://themarriagecourses.org/ & https://www.bibleinoneyear.org/
You can also remove any Global network items you don't want, or add you own pages alongside the Global menu items.
To move content drag and drop it.
If you are running a site in more than one language you can create a translation of you Menu Item by going Translator View -> Menus -> Menus and then filter by which menu you are translating
