Getting Started: Editing a Page, the Basics.

Creating a Block

In a specific page, such as "About Alpha", or your own Local Page you can edit it as much as you like, using the Alpha preset "Blocks".

For simplicity we have created some default Blocks that can be used, which follow the design, style and look of Alpha.

These can be found by creating or edit a page and pressing the small "+" sign.

Editing a Block

Whenever you create a Block you can edit it, either via the tab on the right hand side (this will change depending on which block is being edited) or via tab above the block, which has the basic edit functions you would need.

In the three dots you have some quick actions you can do, such as duplication of the block (or group of blocks), or inserting new block sections.

The editing ability you have will change depending on which block you are editing.

Adding in a special Block to reference content (Stories, Testimonies etc.)

When creating pages you can easily reference some content that you've already made, such as testimonies. To easily drop the same content into multiple area's or to switch the site around.

You need to add this content in the Testimonies, Posts, Stories or Directors.

Once you've created content in these areas (either by translating the global options, or making your own Local options) you can then reference them through the 'Testimonies Block' or 'Grid Block'

In the below example i have created a "TEST Local Story #1". I have then created a Grid block and set the Content Type setting to Catholic stories, so that it references Catholic Stories.
