BUG: Posts: Creating a Local Post
In Posts -> Local Posts you can press 'Add New' to create a new Local Post. You can also click 'Add New' from the menu on the left.
The next page will be a blank Local Post page, this uses the old Template - so we suggest you press 'Switch Template' on the right to use the better template.
Creating your Blog Post
Once on the new Template you can do many things to set up your Blog Post. However many of these elements are locked from us - so if you delete something you might not be able to add it back in.
- Edit the Heading image by pressing the Pencil icon.
- Input text in the title, sub-heading and content of the Blog post.
- You can also control the settings of the Blog Post, such as:
- The Category it belongs to
- The featured image, or Thumbnail of it. BUG: This does not currently show anywhere
- Make sure to assign the Primary language. This has a BUG currently so you cannot change the language after publication.
- EXCERPT is not used.
- TAGS are not used.
- You can add blocks like Call to Action Block to add images or buttons. BUG: you can only move Blocks in the old template currently, so switch back to that one to move the block around.
- Related Posts is a Grid Block that references other related posts. You should not edit this.
