Why are there issues and why should I clean up my data?
myAlpha and Salesforce have historically had conflicts on the data that is shared between them, as such numerous duplicates, errors or missing data issues have arisen.
In response to that we have developed some sync tools that you should all be able to see in Tools -> Salesforce Sync, and under Organisations. These will allow you to realign any incorrectly matched Church/Orgs, Users or Alpha's and maintain or stable data sync between the systems.
Generally speaking data will become un-synched if one of its values are not able to be created in Salesforce.
An example would be: User is not synched to Salesforce as the users Role does no exist in Salesforce, causing an error that leaves it 'stuck' myAlpha.
Issues like this skew the data that your National offices sees, leading to inaccurate data or an absence of data entirely, which could mean you have no idea that user exists and as such cannot support them or their Alpha. All of which ultimately produces poorer quality of Alpha's across your country
We recommend you tidy up your Organisations then your Users, then you Alpha's.
Then finally, if you have some data in Salesforce that is not in myAlpha (which is unlikely) you can import this into myAlpha too.
