Relating Local Resources with Global Resource (Episode)

As part of our effort to contextualise MyAlpha's content for countries, and this highly requested feature now allows NAOs to associate local resources (such as links, documents, and videos) with episodes from the global series. To enable this, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to WordPress using an administrator account
  2. Identify the local resource you wish to link with a global series episode
  3. Edit the selected resource and navigate to the "Related Resources" section.
  4. Utilize the new filter to locate the appropriate global series episode:
    • Select the Product
    • Choose the Resource Type
    • Select the Resource Category — at this stage, focus exclusively on the "Talks" category
  5. Once you’ve found the desired global series episode, move it from the Available Items column (left) to the Your Selection column (right):
    • A global series episode can have multiple related resources, non-episode resources can be linked to only one episode
    • When viewing or editing the global series episode, all associated global and local resources will be displayed
    • The display order should be how the related resources arranged under "Your Selection"

  6. Save the changes to finalize the associations
  7. After these settings are applied, related resources will be displayed for each series episode under:
    • the "Resources For This Session" section of the new video player modal
    • "What's Next" tab
