Creating your Local Resource

If you are creating a Local Product, a Local Customisation, or adding any Promotional or materials to anything you'll have to upload the item's you've made as 'Local Resources'. To do this follow the steps below.

Go to Resources, 'Add New'.

  1. Give the Resource a title.
Please note: do not use abbreviations, users will need appropriately descriptive titles.
  2. Assign the Primary language to the resource. You can add translations to these later.

  3. Assign a Resource Tag to the resource:
“Toolbox” would be any guides or print-outs that are available in the Materials section of their Alpha.
“Promotional” would be any Teasers, posters, banners etc,
"Talks" would be for resources used to make a Local Product, NOT for translations of global resources, as we've made those all for you.
"Team Training" would be items that are used for training.

  4. Resource Categories is used to decide which category it will sit within.
Firstly choose if it's a "Material" (guides, docs etc.) or "Promotional" (banners, posters etc.)
Then assign it to a Category, such as "2019 Social Media".
Please note: how to add additional Resource Categories is explained
    here.

  5. Choose the Resource Type depending on what you're uploading. This will change what upload options you get in sections 8.

  6. You can relate it to a topic. Currently this is only minimally utilised.

  7. Relate it to the product(s) this item would be relevant for. Many items would apply to all Products, such as Banners.

  8. This section will look different depending on what 'Resource Type' you choose. But either way, you upload or link the content here.
Please note: If you are uploading video's you will need to link them from Vimeo. Which I have explained here:

Click Publish and now your resource will available to everyone who is running the select Product(s) in the assigned Primary Language.
